A roundup can become fragmented when every item has a different institution, timescale, and audience. I used the season and the region as organizing threads, then added enough context to explain why each development belonged in the same issue.
Regional reporting skills
The piece demonstrates source discovery, concise synthesis, local relevance judgment, and the ability to move between environmental events and community action without losing the reader.
