Writing, science, and research reinforce one another.
I work at the intersection of professional writing, environmental science, and research. Through PaulWrites, founded in 2022, I produce long-form articles, SEO content, web and landing-page copy, thought leadership, technical content, scientific communication, and substantive editing.
I am completing a B.S. in Environmental Science & Sustainability with a Biology minor at Nazareth University, with an expected graduation date of May 2027. My environmental work includes harmful algal bloom research, freshwater systems, climate and precipitation analysis, phytoremediation, cyanobacteria, and the communication of scientific findings to non-specialist audiences.
That combination matters in client work. I am accustomed to entering a difficult subject, defining the question, finding and evaluating source material, distinguishing evidence from inference, and building an explanation around what the reader needs to understand next.
Environmental research
My research experience includes harmful algal blooms, cyanobacteria, freshwater systems, climate and precipitation analysis, rhizofiltration, phytoremediation, environmental remediation, and scientific literature review. My work has included original experiments, regional data analysis, and feasibility-focused synthesis.
