Eight ideas, one argument
I structured the article so each recommendation advances the same claim: digital convenience should remove friction without removing the rituals, decisions, and feedback that make the physical game satisfying. Examples from familiar adaptations keep abstract design principles concrete.
Research and tone
The piece required game-industry research and careful calibration. It had to be specific enough for publishers and designers while remaining accessible to prospective clients who may not use terms such as adaptive UI, reward feedback, or live-content cadence every day.
Studio process
Editors and studio contributors shaped the outline, examples, technical depth, and client-facing purpose. I converted that direction into an article with a consistent rhythm and clear transitions across eight distinct design concerns.
My role
I researched and wrote the eight-part article within Workinman’s collaborative editorial process.
