Editorial approach
The article leads with the overall experience—faster, smoother, and more social—before explaining the mechanics. The 1v1 section translates the match flow into plain language, while later passages distinguish Name That Movie, Shuffle, and MotionPicks for readers who have not used the app.
Studio collaboration
I worked within a multidisciplinary studio process. Product stakeholders supplied the update priorities; editors and executives shaped positioning and scope; artists and developers provided the visual and technical context needed to describe the experience accurately. The final copy keeps those inputs coherent without exposing the internal brief to the reader.
What the piece demonstrates
- Product-update writing that prioritizes audience benefit
- Translation of interface and multiplayer features into concise consumer language
- Tone control across entertainment, technology, and client positioning
My role
I translated the approved product brief and studio feedback into the published update article for Workinman Interactive.
