Writing for museum decision-makers

The audience includes curators, education teams, exhibit leaders, and organizations selecting interactive partners. I translated design and development practices into outcomes those readers care about: learning, participation, accessibility, repeat visits, operational flexibility, and long-term relevance.

Grounded in studio examples

Examples involving ECHO, the North Carolina Zoo, the Strong Museum of Play, cooperative trivia, SketchTank, and other interactive formats show how the principles work across different spaces and audiences.

Collaboration as subject and process

The article argues that durable exhibits come from collaboration among curators, creative leads, designers, and technical teams. It was also produced through that kind of studio process, with project contributors and editors helping define the examples, scope, and claims I developed into the final copy.

My role

I organized Workinman’s exhibit experience and multidisciplinary input into the published client-facing article.
